Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) is a Four year Under graduate course is Approved by PCI, AICTE & Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, A.P. (JNTUA), the course is intended for understudies who need to seek after a profession in showcasing, creating, quality affirmation and quality control areas of the Pharma Industry. It gives incredible openness to functional abilities. This course comprises various subjects to give the knowledge and practical skills regarding the synthesis/extraction of drugs, formulation of drugs into various dosage forms like tablets, capsules injections etc, analysis of drugs and dosage forms, testing of drugs and dosage forms on animals / human volunteers and the legal requirements for manufacture and sale of drugs and dosage forms by a company and discovery of new drugs and dosage forms. It is a 4 years long undergraduate course. After completing the course, graduates will obtain the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. After obtaining this degree, graduates may start practice as a Pharmacist in India as well as abroad.
PROGRAM OUTCOME: Demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of the fundamental principles and essential concepts related to the pharmacy profession. This includes proficiency in biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, behavioral, social, administrative pharmacy sciences, and manufacturing practices.

Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices.

Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.

Duration: 04 years
Eligibility: 10 + 2examination with minimum 50% marks (or an equivalent examination) with biology or biotechnology as one of the subjects. D. Pharmacy (Diploma of Pharmacy) holders are eligible for admission into B. Pharmacy second year directly via lateral entry.
